REFERENCING OF WEBSITES
Students doing research projects need to provide
website references as part of their assignment.
The easiest way is to use an online citation
tool such as the Landmarks Citation
Machine or Sydney TAFE's
Interactive
Guide to Bibliographies (scroll down to Webpage/document from a
website).
There are different referencing or citation styles:
see
Referencing basics (ANU)
[pdf]
or the bibme.org Citation Guide.
Examples of web pages dealing with referencing or citing websites
are:
●
APA style (RMIT University) - scroll down to "Websites".
(For more information on referencing, see
RMIT - Referencing.)
●
Harvard Referencing
for Electronic Sources (University of NSW)
